Exabytes Data Center has introduced a new system for requesting visits to the data center via the Exabytes Client Area. Colocation customers can now submit their visitation requests through the Client Area portal, which can be accessed by the owner of the Primary Email account without the need to fill out any visitation forms anymore.

In any case where the process may be cumbersome for the Primary Email Account owner, the account holder can add additional users as authorized personnel to create the Data Center Visitation form independently.

Instructions on how to add users can be found here: "How to Add/Remove Users", and the only permission required is "View Products & Services - view access to product, services and addons."

Other permissions can be disregarded or based on the account owner's discretion on what to apply.

The following is the procedure for submitting a new Exabytes Data Center Visitation Request:

1. Log in to the Client Area Portal at https://billing.exabytes.my/mypanel/clientarea.php.

2. After logging in, hover your mouse over “Services” and click on “My Services”

3. This will display all your service subscriptions with Exabytes. From there, locate your Colocation service row and click on “Manage Product.”

4. Once the product page is displayed, you will see the “Datacenter Visits” function located in the bottom left pane of the Account Manager. Click on “Schedule an Appointment.”

5. By clicking this, you will be taken to the next page for the Data Center Visitation Request.

Below are the steps on how to utilize the Data Center Visitation Request.

1. Click on “New Visit Request.”

2. A window will pop up displaying the fields you need to select and fill out.

3. There are three tabs of forms that need to be completed depending on the nature of the visitation. If you are requesting “Device/Equipment Removal”, we will send the “Device/Equipment Removal Forms” via email to be completed prior to the visitation.

a. Visitor details, date & time, and the purpose of the visitation.

b. Equipment declaration to check in/out from the Data Center.

c. Any remarks that need to be declared or communicated to our Exabytes Engineer.

4. After completing and submitting the form, an entry will appear on the visitation page as shown below:

5. Your visitation request will be processed, and the status will be updated once it is Approved or Cancelled.
