What is EAS and EWS 



1) Exchange ActiveSync (EAS)  A protocol introduced by Microsoft for Exchange intended to be used on mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

2) Exchange Web Services (EWS) A protocol introduced by Microsoft for Exchange that was intended for Windows and MacOs desktop email clients . 


Example of supported version:  Microsoft Outlook 2019,Microsoft Outlook 2015 for Mac from Office 365, Outlook 2011 for Mac, Apple Mail , the Outlook client for iPad.
